I got my very first Stitch Fix box today! I rushed to the mailbox after work to retrieve my box, almost giggly with excitement. My cat was not impressed, ha!
My stylist sent me a very pretty necklace, a pair of distressed jeans, and 3 shirts.
Here’s a look at the whole fix:
I absolutely loved the necklace so I knew that I would keep that item. The necklace is beautiful, simple, and I can wear it with many different outfits to work. The Kaylie Classic Station necklace has both gold and silver tones with sparkly little beads. It cost $34 but after deducting the $20 styling fee, it comes to just $14. KEEP!
Let’s talk about the jeans. They fit perfectly, and I really wanted to keep them. However, they are very distressed. I just can’t wear jeans this distressed to work. Cost is $68. RETURN!
My next favorite item is the green shirt. It is called the Romey Cold Shoulder Knit Top. From the picture it can be hard to see, but the shoulders have a fun cut-out detail. The color is a pretty olive, much better in person that with my little camera. Although it was a bit loose on me, I decided it would great for work this summer. I will try to get a picture of me wearing this shirt and necklace combo. Cost is $28. KEEP!
The long-sleeved blue shirt is called the Darrel Crochet Yoke Knit Top for $58. It is a lovely fabric with pretty detailing at the neck line. However, it was too big for me, and I just don’t want to wear long-sleeved shirts to work in the summer. RETURN!
The white shirt with blue stripes is very cute and summery. It is the Anica One Pocket Knit Top for $38. However, at just 5 foot 4 inches tall, this shirt was way too long, almost mini skirt length when I was younger. The back had fun buttons for a different look. If it the shirt had been petite length, I would have purchased it. RETURN!
Overall, I’m pretty happy with my first fix and my stylist, Cheree.. I kept 2 pieces and returned 3. I’ll update my styling preferences and Pinterest board for my July fix so that my stylist can tweak the selections for me.
What do you think of my keep vs. returned items this month?
