On this page, I’m listing some quilting supplies that I use and recommend. I am an Amazon Affiliate and will receive a small commission from the sale of these items to help offset the costs of running this blog. I appreciate your support!
- Clover Extra Fine Patchwork Pins – I use these extra fine pins for all my patchwork. They slide into the fabric easily.
- Add A Quarter 6″ Ruler – This ruler makes foundation paper piecing so much easier. Tape it to a postcard to easily trim your fabric before adding the next section.
- Add A Quarter 12″ Ruler – I use this ruler for longer paper pieced sections.
- Carol Doak’s Foundation Paper – This is a perfect weight paper for printing out foundation paper pieced patterns at home. When you shorten your stitch length, this paper perforates for easy removal.
- Duck Easy-Stick Adhesive Roller Tape – This tape helps you to place your first piece of fabric for foundation paper piecing without using messy glue sticks.
- Small 10″ Rotating Cutting Mat – Use this mat for EPP (English paper piecing). It swivels to help you glue baste.
- Sewline Fabric Glue Pen and Refills – I use this brand for EPP.
- Pentel Fabric Gel Roller Pen – This is a great pen to use for making quilt labels. I label all my quilts with my name, date, the pattern, my signature, or any other special details.
- Aurifil Basic 4 Spool Pack – I only use Aurifil 50 weight thread for piecing. This special pack contains 4 basic colors for most piecing needs.
- Tula Pink EZ Snips – I love these snips to clip closely to threads for all my piecing needs. I keep a pair next to my sewing machine and another pair in my travel EPP bag.
- Fiskars 28mm Rotary Cutter – This is my go-to size rotary cutter for most of my piecing needs from foundation paper piecing to traditional piecing. I like this smaller size rotary cutter because it fits my hand better.
