Happy Saturday, quilty friends!
Today, I stitched together my last block for the 2014 Aurifil BOM program. This month’s block is called “Not Afraid of Flying” designed by Carrie Nelson.
I kept to my theme of Kona Shadow as my neutral with some blacks, reds, and whites. The flying geese in this unit did give me some trouble. I could say it’s because I’ve been battling some strange vertigo lately, but I think I may have just rushed it. I think that I will redo this block before assembling the quilt top.

Love these blocks. I think I’ll go back to Jan and make this quilt as well š I’ve been wanting to make a sampler with blue and white fabric…this may the pattern to follow! Thanks for posting!
